About IROX™
A lifestyle brand offering hospitality and design.
IROX™ was born from our passion for hospitality and design. When we first began exploring Asheville, North Carolina in 2019, we knew we had discovered somewhere special. The beauty of the mountains, the richness of the food and culture, and the warmth of the people inspired us to create something we had never experienced before — a space designed with intention, beauty, and peace for every guest.
In Fall 2021, we welcomed our first guests to The Glass House™, and the experience surpassed everything we had imagined. The joy of seeing guests create meaningful moments within a space we designed was unmatched. Even more humbling was the overwhelming demand for reservations, affirming that we had tapped into something truly resonant.
From that momentum, we expanded with The Gallery House™, which opened in Spring 2023, and later unveiled Sanctuary On The Summit in 2024 — each one a distinct expression of our Human-Centered Stay™ philosophy.
Now, after years of growth in Asheville, we’ve passed the torch and sold those beloved properties. What remains is the heart of IROX™: a portfolio of unforgettable stays and a proven vision for how design and hospitality can transform the way people experience place, connection, and creativity.

We are the DeMeo family and we fully believe that Matter is Miraculous.
Jason and Hillary are co-founders of a design studio, We Are Curio, in Lakeland, Florida. Our daughter, Eliana, is full of love and creativity. Together, we are passionate people who enjoy culture, learning new things, meaningful experiences, warm hospitality, and all things design. Additionally, Jason is an artist who has filled our own home and IROX™ properties with beautiful art to share.
From start to finish, we are honored to have handcrafted intentional spaces and experiences for you and your loved ones to enjoy. Through our spacial design approach, we have focused on our guests’ five senses to create an environment that allows individuals to Stay Human™. We hope that you can feel the little miracles throughout the IROX™ experience!
